In 1988, under this name, I bought seeds from the American cactus nursery Mesa Garden.
However, the resulting plants differ greatly from those that were published under this name, recently as Eriosyce taltalensis.
The flowers are creamy white, the outer petals are slightly pink with a darker median stripe.
The flower reaches a diameter of about 5 cm.
However, the body of this cactus is especially interesting!
It is gray-blue-green and turns reddish in intense sunlight.
The dark spines form a nice contrast.
Plants about 6 cm in diameter, about 5 cm high
