Description
Astrophytum myriostigma is also known as bishop's cap due to its shape. The plant is thornless and has five ribs. While the body of the basic form is covered with small white flakes, the cultivar nudum lacks these white flakes and has a dark green body.
This seeds are a hybrid of the five-ribbed and four-ribbed forms.
The small, yellow flowers appear several times a year.
