The magnificent blooms of this Echinopsis hybrid display a fascinating, harmonious interplay of color and form:
The funnel-shaped flowers open in a star-like pattern, reaching an impressive diameter of around 12 cm and a length of approximately 13 to 15 cm. The numerous, pointed petals are arranged in multiple layers; the outer petals flare slightly and taper to a point at their tips.
The petals captivate with a delicate, radiant pink-to-rose hue. Each individual petal features a distinctive, lighter-to-whitish central stripe (or a gentle lightening towards the base) that transitions into a bolder pink towards the edges. Subtle, darker accents—appearing almost purple—often shimmer through at the outermost tips and on the reverse sides.
Deep within the flower, numerous delicate filaments tipped with yellow anthers cluster together in a ring. Rising from the center is a prominent, creamy-white to pale yellow style, culminating in a multi-lobed, star-shaped stigma.
The flowers exude a pleasant, subtle, and light fragrance.
