Echinopsis Hybrid "pink" [OIL.2020.31.14]

Magnificent Echinopsis bloom with an elegant stem and wonderful fragrance

The bloom of this Echinopsis hybrid is a true feast for the eyes. It features the large, star-like shape typical of Echinopsis, with numerous narrow, pointed petals that open outwards. The color is a vibrant, rich pink that lightens towards the center, taking on an almost salmon-like hue. The contrast between the pink petals and the pale yellow, pollen-dusted center—filled with stamens—is striking. Perfectly formed, the blossom resembles a rising sun atop the round, spiny cactus body.

With a diameter of 8 cm, it is a medium-sized yet commanding bloom. Its 13 cm length indicates a long, trumpet-like stalk that lifts it high above the cactus body, giving it an elegant, almost regal bearing.
