The petals are arranged in several dense, staggered rows and taper to pointed tips. The edges of the outer petals are slightly wavy and irregular, giving the bloom a dynamic, almost feathery texture. The innermost petals form a sort of ruffled collar.
The dominant color is a very delicate, cool pastel pink that fades almost to white.
Particularly fascinating are the fine, darker pink to magenta streaks (veins) running through the petals, lending the flower a textured, veined appearance—especially at the outer tips.
The center of the flower is deep and complex. A thick ring of fine, creamy-white filaments emerges from the deep throat.
The anthers at the tips of the filaments are small, densely packed, and a warm, pale yellow hue.
Deep within, at the base of the ring of stamens, a distinct deep green is visible, creating a mysterious "nectar-throat" effect.
The blooms reach up to 19 cm in length and 11 cm in diameter. They are lightly fragrant.
Plants approx. 3.5 cm in diameter, approx. 4 cm tall
