The inner, broader rows of petals are a flawless, silky, pure white. Towards the outer rows, a delicate, subtle gradient of pastel baby pink and very pale violet emerges, adorning the tips and edges of the petals like a fine wash of color.
The narrow, pointed bracts at the very base display a slightly bolder hue, leaning towards a brownish-pink. They provide a striking contrast, framing the flower's radiant white center.
A real eye-catcher within is the deep, intensely luminous lime-to-olive green throat. This cool green spot at the center lends the flower fantastic vibrancy and depth.
A very dense, uniform, and circular ring of delicate, pale yellow anthers surrounds the center. At the very heart sits the multi-lobed, creamy-white to pale green stigma, which blends perfectly in color with the green throat.
The flower boasts an exceptionally high number of petals, arranged in closely spaced, staggered layers. This gives it an extremely full, sculptural appearance and a magnificent three-dimensional quality.
Each individual petal tapers to a fine, sharp point. However, because the petals have relatively broad bases, the flower does not look cluttered despite the many points; instead, it appears harmonious and arranged in a star-like pattern.
The inner petals curve elegantly upwards to form a cup shape, while the outer rows spread flatly outwards. This creates the classic, beautiful funnel-shaped silhouette characteristic of a magnificent *Echinopsis*.
The highly fragrant flowers reach a length of 20 cm and a diameter of 13 cm.
