The bloom of this Echinopsis hybrid is an impressive, symmetrical specimen with a funnel-like shape. With a diameter of 10 cm and a length of 15 cm, it boasts imposing proportions.
The numerous, tapering petals are arranged in a spiral pattern, forming a full, radiant crown. The flower's base color is a brilliant white that transitions into a very delicate, subtle hint of pale pink at the edges—and especially at the tips—of the outer petals. Deep within the flower's center, a dense ring of countless fine, yellowish stamens fills the space, creating a beautiful contrast against the white petals.
A side view reveals the flower's remarkable length. The long, scaly floral tube is clearly visible; it is light green to brownish in hue and covered with fine, dark hairs and delicate bristles. The outer petals, which merge into the tube, display a slightly more pronounced pink mid-stripe. The base of the flower and a portion of the spiny cactus body are visible at the bottom of the image.
In summary, this is a flawless, elegant bloom that captivates with its size, subtle pink gradient, and intricate center, while its faint fragrance hints at the nocturnal or crepuscular pollinators it attracts.
