Echinopsis Hybrid "white-pink" [OIL.2018.33.25]

The petals feature a beautiful, soft pastel gradient. Each individual petal is edged in a clean, translucent white. However, a broad, brilliantly luminous band—ranging from pink to delicate violet—runs through the center of each petal. As this band extends across all the petal layers, it creates a fascinating, star-like effect of pink tones radiating outward.
Deep within the flower’s core glows a fresh, vibrant lime-to-light green. This green throat provides a cool, lively contrast to the warm pastel shades of the petals.
A perfectly circular, dense ring of countless pale-yellow anthers frames the green center, resembling a piece of fine gold jewelry at the heart of the bloom.
Unlike classic, wide-open wild varieties, this hybrid displays a sophisticated, double-flowered geometry:
The flower is structured in multiple layers, with petals arranged in several closely overlapping circles. This gives the open bloom immense visual depth and an almost "full" appearance (reminiscent of an elegant camellia or peony).
Compared to other varieties, the petal tips are relatively broad and slightly rounded, tapering to only a tiny, delicate point. The edges are gently ruffled, lending the flower a soft, almost fabric-like texture.
At the very center rises a light-green style, opening into a multi-rayed, star-shaped stigma that harmonizes perfectly in color with the green throat.
The fragrant flowers reach a length of 18 cm and a diameter of 11 cm.
