This cactus, also known as Parodia magnifica, develops into an imposing plant over time.
Fist it grows solitary, later clustering to an attractive group.
Thin, hair-like, yellow spines sit on the blue-green ribs.
The large, light yellow flowers with a diameter of up to 5 cm appear regularly on the crown of somewhat larger plants.
