The Rebutia is native to South America: Bolivia and Argentina.
This Rebutia was discovered by Friedrich Ritter in 1958 in Bolivia, near Tarvita, Azurduy Province.
The abundant flowers are reddish-orange, approximately 45 mm in diameter, and 35 mm long.
Plants approx. 3.5 cm in diameter, approx. 4.5 cm tall, flowerable
