Sulcorebutia hybrid "purplish-red" [2338]

The funnel-shaped flowers of this hybrid boast an impressive diameter of 55 mm and open wide into a star shape in full sunlight.
The outer and inner petals are a rich, dark purplish-red. They feature rounded, slightly notched tips and a fine, velvety texture.
The center of the flower creates a striking contrast. A clearly defined, light to whitish ring encircles the base, transitioning into a fresh, light-green to yellow-green inner center.
The numerous filaments emerge from the inner zone; they are whitish at the base and yellowish towards the tips. They bear clearly visible, pale yellow anthers (pollen-bearing structures) that are evenly distributed across the inner area.

Plants approx. 4 cm in diameter, approx. 2.5 cm high.
